Krooze has compiled the main services, activities and meals included in the fare to help travellers plan their trip

Disney Cruise Line continues to expand its fleet and itinerary options. New additions include the Disney Believe, scheduled to launch on December 18, 2027, and the Disney Imagination, announced to sail in Japan. In this context of expansion, knowing what is included in the price of the trip is an important step for those who want to sail with the company but still have questions about onboard costs.
To clarify these questions, Krooze has gathered information about entertainment, dining, accommodations, kids’ clubs and adult activities. The fare includes a range of services, from shows and character meet-and-greets to meals, access to pools and leisure areas. On the other hand, items such as alcoholic beverages, internet, spa treatments and some special experiences are charged separately.
Onboard entertainment: shows, characters and pools
One of the features of Disney cruises is the range of entertainment offered for different age groups. The fare includes live shows with productions inspired by the Disney universe, movie screenings, character meet-and-greets, and access to pools, waterslides and water play areas.

On certain itineraries, guests can also watch fireworks displays at sea. However, this activity is not available on every sailing and depends on the ship’s schedule.
Activities available for an additional charge include special experiences for children, such as the Royal Court Royal Tea, a character-themed party for children ages 3 to 12, as well as makeover services at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and The Pirate’s League.

The virtual sports simulator is also available on specific ships, such as the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. Attraction availability may vary according to the ship and itinerary.
Dining: meals and snacks are included
The cruise fare includes dining options throughout the day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at table-service restaurants and quick-service venues, according to each ship’s hours and schedule.
Guests also have access to 24-hour room service, snacks and soft-serve ice cream. Coffee, tea and soft drinks are available at no additional cost at designated service points, including deck areas and table-service restaurants.
Some options, however, are not part of the standard fare. This is the case with adults-only restaurants, such as Remy, available on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy.

Bottled water, alcoholic beverages, specialty coffees, selected teas and other drinks may also incur additional charges. Gratuities should be included in the traveler’s financial planning, according to the rules applicable to the reservation.
Staterooms and included amenities
Disney Cruise Line accommodations offer a sitting area and closet space. In most staterooms, the bathrooms are divided into two areas: one with a sink, shower and bathtub; and another with a sink and toilet. This configuration allows more than one person to use parts of the bathroom at the same time.
Staterooms also feature a television, movies, refrigerator, safe, hair dryer and bath products. These features are part of the accommodation amenities.

Wireless internet access is charged separately. The same applies to travel-related services and expenses, such as ground transfers, airfare, hotel stays before or after the cruise and any vacation protection plan.
Kids’ clubs for different ages
Kids’ and teen clubs are included in the fare and offer spaces designed for different age groups. The concept allows children and teens to take part in supervised activities while adults enjoy other areas of the ship.

Options include the Disney Oceaneer Club and Disney Oceaneer Lab, for children ages 3 to 10; Edge, for tweens ages 11 to 14; and Vibe, for teens ages 14 to 17.
The schedule and participation rules may vary by ship. Therefore, it is worth checking the conditions of the chosen vessel before embarkation.
What can adults enjoy at no extra cost?
The adult program also includes activities and leisure spaces. These include nightclubs, lounges, live music performances, adults-only pools and hot tubs, as well as the fitness center.

Spa and beauty salon services, personalized fitness training sessions and beverage tastings are charged separately. Meals at adults-only restaurants and drinks that are not among the included options can also increase the final cost of the trip.
Castaway Cay: o que está incluído na ilha privativa da Disney?
On itineraries that include Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, guests have access to family beaches and the adults-only area, as well as waterslides, water play areas and beach equipment such as towels, chairs and umbrellas.
The program may also include live music, character appearances, clubs for children and teens, and fitness activities. Options include walking trails, a 5K race with a participation medal and adults-only yoga sessions, according to the local schedule.
The barbecue lunch, soft-serve ice cream, and included coffee, tea and soft drink options on the island round out the dining offerings. Tram transportation is also available at no additional cost.
On the other hand, rentals of snorkeling equipment, inner tubes, rafts and bicycles are charged separately. Excursions and adventures organized at the destination, as well as certain beverages, may also incur additional expenses.
How should you plan your Disney cruise budget?
Before booking, travelers should consider not only the advertised fare but also the services they intend to use during the trip. The choice of beverages, specialty restaurants, excursions, spa treatments and internet connectivity can change the final cost.
Another important point is to check which services are available on the selected ship and itinerary. Not all attractions are offered on every vessel, and some activities depend on advance reservations or availability.
The recommendation is to use a travel agent specializing in cruises, as this makes it easier to compare fares and organize the budget before embarkation.
