Sailings depart from Long Beach and offer three casinos, themed activities and itineraries along Mexico’s coast

The Carnival Firenze has launched a series of adults-only cruises on the U.S. West Coast. The sailings are part of Carnival Cruise Line’s SEA Cruises program and are exclusively for guests aged 21 and over.
In total, the ship will operate four sailings between October and late November 2026. The itineraries will range from seven to 14 nights, with embarkation and disembarkation in Long Beach, California.
Itineraries explore Mexico’s coast
The first sailing began in mid-October and includes calls at Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlán and Ensenada.
Next, the Carnival Firenze will operate a 14-night itinerary featuring destinations less frequently included in the company’s Mexican Riviera itineraries. The program includes Acapulco, Manzanillo, Puerto Vallarta, La Paz, Cabo San Lucas and Ensenada.
Two additional cruises will be offered in November, lasting 11 and seven nights and visiting different destinations in the region.
Ship receives third temporary casino
The sailings were developed especially for travelers interested in casino gaming. During SEA Cruises departures, the Carnival Firenze will feature a third space dedicated to gaming.
The temporary smoke-free casino was installed in the Tuscan Lounge and will be removed after the adults-only program concludes.
Normally, the ship offers two casinos: the main one, where smoking is allowed, and a second, smaller smoke-free area. The special cruises will also feature gaming-related activities and different menus, with a wider variety of options.
Return to regular schedule
In late November, the Carnival Firenze will resume its regular West Coast operation, with short sailings along California and the Baja California region.
In early 2027, the ship will begin a repositioning itinerary before operating sailings from Miami and New York.
During the crossing, the vessel will mark Carnival Cruise Line’s return to South America, with visits to destinations in Ecuador, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil.
